Sitting down with Bella Thorne, there's an firsthand intimacy that makes an interview feel more similar a long talk with a all-time friend rather than a celebrity. Bella Thorne: Pretty much on all my films, I do my ain makeup. When I go to near events, I practice my ain makeup. When I did all the "Famous in Dearest" printing, I did all of my shit myself, except my pilus. I did my styling myself—I only picked out random shit.

SC: Practice you wear makeup on your days off?

BT: If I tin can go without wearing makeup, I am non wearing makeup…and I definitely exercise get out of my way to show people what my skin really looks like.

A lot of times you see people on social and everybody merely looks so perfect like, "Oh my god. Look at that daughter.  How is she all the same beautiful? Why aren't I that pretty?" For me, I'chiliad just similar, what you see on social isn't real. Don't judge me by my Instagram page, because y'all don't know me.

So I exercise go out of my way to exist similar, "Yo, I accept off my makeup" and "Look at what I look like in the mirror every day before I put on my makeup and later on I have it off." It's not great. I struggle with it every day. I feel like about people at some betoken in their lives go through acne. SC: What do you practice when you lot tin't sleep?

BT: When I can't sleep, I smoke a J. Sometimes I practise a lot of night shoots, and I'm going to bed at 8 a.m. And so I'g getting up and I'm working from 4 p.m. until 10 a.m. It totally fucks up my schedule, so when I go back, it's lights out. Sometimes I can't fall asleep considering my mind's spinning so fast, then I'll go and write about it. I'one thousand writing a blog or I'll write my series, and I'll put something new that I'k thinking virtually into there. I only find a way to channel information technology into something.

SC: You've talked virtually wanting to date girls—how is that going?

BT: It's and then hard. I can't tell if a girl is trying to be best friends with me or if she wants to get with me or if she just wants social media followers. I'm simply so dislocated when a girl talks to me. Girls can exist very flirtatious,  and then I don't desire to make a move, and and so yous be like, "Whoa, girl. Not what I was thinking, I don't roll that way."

Then it's so awkward. So I end up ordinarily dating more guys, because with guys, I know if a guy's hitting me upwardly. They're not just texting me to be my bestie. I know they want something, of some sort.

BT: If I like somebody, they know. It doesn't thing if you're a guy or a girl. I'm always, like, "Yo, I literally would get with you. I will tell you right at present. I don't want to brand this awkward, but yous are so hot. Please, come up on me. I want to take you on a date."

Or, I'll get a lot of girls that randomly write me. I've got this 1 girl that writes me and she'southward like, "Hey, I wanna fuck yous. Similar, hey, come up to me babe. What's up?" I know her through a social setting, and she's always coming at it then hard, and I'one thousand, like, "Yes, girl, you lot are just existence so upfront, but can we hold up? Can I take you on a date? Because I would really similar to do that." And this girl is, similar, "Just come to me, babe. I wanna kiss."

SC: Speaking of social media, what would you tell your followers to do if they're beingness harassed online?

BT: Everybody goes through bullying. It doesn't matter what bespeak in your life information technology is—you will exist bullied.
